2010 VW Golf Gti
Today, we received a call regarding ignition key problems with a newly purchased 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Upon disassembly, we quickly identified that the steering lock had been recently replaced, presumably by the previous owner. Unfortunately, a low-quality aftermarket steering lock had been installed, which had already failed. Adding to the problem, the installer had neglected to replace the security bolts, thereby compromising the vehicle’s security.
Our solution was to supply and install a genuine steering lock and new anti-tamper bolts, ensuring the vehicle’s security and reliability.
This is an excellent example that opting for the cheapest option may not always be the wisest choice, especially when it comes to something as important as your main mode of transportation
